Access and Location
Although situated in Missouri, the airport is uniquely accessed via Elwood, Kansas, due to the Missouri River’s course change following the Great Flood of 1951. Visitors from St. Joseph must cross the Pony Express Bridge into Kansas to reach the airport.
Special Notes: Use only north end of ramp, all ramp space south of the terminal building is military only. Do not cross the red blinking line. 24/7 armed security monitors the ramp to ensure adherence with this rule.
