Proud Student Moment at FlyTech St Joseph

Last June, a young student walked in with a clear goal: corporate pilot. He got to work, stayed consistent, and earned his solo in about 8.5 hours with Conner as his instructor. That does not happen by accident. It is focus, preparation, and showing up ready to learn.
What makes us proud is not just the speed. It is the mindset. He studied when nobody was watching, listened closely, asked good questions, and treated every lesson like it mattered. He is continuing his training with FlyTech now, and we are going to keep building on that momentum the right way, one safe step at a time.
This is also a good snapshot of what is happening at FlyTech overall. In our first 18 months of operation, we have produced 11 certificates across Private and Instrument, and we anticipate another 7 this year.
We are watching a motivated, diverse group of people chase aviation for all the right reasons:
Young men and women pursuing careers. Business owners buying back time and turning travel into a tool. And people nearing retirement who want a new skill and a new hobby.
Different backgrounds. Same mission. Train smart, fly safe, and keep moving forward.
If you see this new pilot around the airport, give him or her a quick congrats. Moments like this are why we do what we do.
